Get started

MCP quickstart

Connect Lead Spine to an AI assistant in about five minutes—without API keys or local software.

Before you connect

  • A Lead Spine account.
  • At least one CRM sub-account connected in Lead Spine.
  • An AI client that supports remote MCP servers or custom connectors.

Hosted MCP server

Lead Spine runs remotely. You do not install Node.js, run a local command, paste a private key, or keep your computer online.

Connect in five steps

  1. 1

    Connect a CRM sub-account

Sign in to Lead Spine, open CRM Connections, and connect only the sub-account you want available.

  2. 2

    Copy the MCP server URL

Use the same permanent URL in every supported AI client.

    Value
    https://leadspine.io/api/mcp
  3. 3

    Add Lead Spine

Create a custom connector or remote MCP server in your AI client and paste the URL.

  4. 4

    Sign in and approve

Your browser opens Lead Spine. Sign in, review the request, and approve it. No access token appears in the URL.

  5. 5

    Start a new conversation

Ask the assistant to list your connected sub-accounts, choose one, then make a safe read-only request.

Verify the connection

First prompt
List the CRM sub-accounts I can access. Ask me which one to use, then list its workflows without changing anything.
  • Your AI shows the sub-accounts you connected in Lead Spine.
  • If more than one is available, it asks you to choose instead of guessing.
  • The selected sub-account remains pinned for that conversation.
  • The first read returns real CRM data without making a change.
